All employees who work in Continuing Care are invited to attend an Orientation to Your Union session. Whether you are new to the job or not, you can plan to come and connect with your Union.
Join us for a 45-minute session to find out about your rights in the workplace, who to contact for issues, how your union works and to meet your union leaders.
To join in person, come to the back entrance of the Yukon Employee’s Union Office at 2285 2nd Avenue, next to the Fountain Tire store.
You can attend these sessions on paid time, at your regular rate of pay for 1 hour. You will need to follow the same process for attending these as you would for attending Continuing Care training: by letting your supervisor as well as scheduling know.
